Consumers who come into contact with industries that market high-value items 'demand' excellence in every single purchase.

Consumers who come into contact with sectors that market high-value items "demand" excellence for every single purchase; excellence allows to obtain good margins on products but, at the same time, puts a lot of pressure on producers who, in addition to having to guarantee excellent quality, must also take into account frequent thefts both external (theft of goods made by expert thieves) and internal (staff, collaborators, etc ...).

Internal theft is a problem that companies often do not give due weight despite the alarming statements of industry experts. Richard Brooks, Regional Security and Safety Manager of Louis Vuitton, during the Thought Leadership Webinars 2022, expressed his concerns about this problem, also confirmed by a study by Marsh (2021) which establishes that 90% of thefts perpetrated in luxury companies are committed by their workers.

Employees, who over time acquire knowledge of the environments where luxury goods circulate, have the ability to act illegally with relative ease, with less risk of being discovered, something that a thief outside the company would not be able to do.

Consequently, companies, both upstream and downstream of the supply chain of the luxury sector, always find themselves having to invest in security systems that are unable to mitigate the risk effectively. Even large brands with high availability have to face this problem, since there is not yet a system that combines accessibility (by the employee) with product safety.

Theft prevention is often neglected to the detriment of accessibility, with the aim of ensuring speed and punctuality in delivering the product to the end customer. To bring these operational aspects together, corporate safety must be seen as an integral part of every employee's daily work so that it is implicitly attributed a primary value.

ExpoAlert has developed a system capable of satisfying the concerns of the market; customizable solutions that can easily integrate with business processes, both upstream and downstream of the supply chain, to prevent companies from being illegally deprived of high-value assets.
