General user guide
ExpoAlert is the first system that allows you to monitor your products in real time, providing constant control in terms of both safety and performance. With ExpoAlert, you can know exactly when a product is lifted or removed, allowing you to accurately track interactions within your location. This helps you improve product management and prevent theft or unauthorized access.
With ExpoAlert, it is possible:
- Lock and unlock a product through the app.
- Monitoring the status of an item.
- View activities in the event register.
- Manage user access to items.
- Analyze data and information.
The green light on the sensor indicates that the device is ready to connect to Wi-Fi. The green LED lights up when the device is turned on and needs to be connected to the Wi-Fi network. The green LED will remain on until the “correct” credentials are entered and the device connects to a Wi-Fi network.
During use: If the green LED lights up, it means the Wi-Fi connection has been interrupted and the device needs to be reconnected to the network.
The yellow light, located on the far left, indicates that the device is charging. If the yellow LED is flashing, it means that the battery charge status is above 75%.
The purple LED, located on the far right, will light up when the device loses connection with the Wi Fi network. After about 30 seconds of failed reconnection attempts, the device will turn on the purple LED and, if provided, activate the buzzer for 10 seconds with an interval of 120 seconds. This cycle will continue until the device is manually turned off and on again via the switch. Following the restart, the purple LED will not turn on, but the green LED will.
The red light on the sensor lights up when the device is in lock mode and detects unauthorized removal of a product. The red LED turns off automatically when the alarm is deactivated via the app.
Troubleshooting
Turn the sensor off and on again using the ON/OFF switch located under the device. The green light will turn off within a maximum of 30 seconds.
Check that you are connected to a private Wi-Fi network, with a defined name and password. The ExpoAlert system may not work properly on corporate Wi-Fi networks, which may be subject to interference or limitations.
